Philia’s E&P team has integrated in the past high-level multidisciplinary associates such as geologists, geophysicists, petro-physicists, reservoir engineers and economists.
The entire team has emanated from and acquired experience at internationally recognized companies.
ASSETS
Following years of investment of human capital and resources, Philia’s exploration and production team succeeded to secure a working interest as operator in exploration and appraisal Marine XIII assets in 2016.
Marine XIII Upstream
In Marine XIII, working interests are distributed as follows: Philia, the operator, holds 85%, while SNPC holds 15%.
The Marine XIII permit is located offshore Congo Brazzaville in the Lower Congo Basin on trend with the producing Kitina, Djambala and Likalala-Libondo fields operated by ENI and Total.
Following the reprocessing of the existing 3D data partially covering the block, the partnership has agreed a new 3D acquisition campaign in the northern part of the block covered only by few 2D lines to target both pre and post salt plays.
The 3D Acquisition Campaign was realized in December 2015 and the new data was processed in depth during the early part of 2016.
